Before your booking, you will receive a waiver via email along with your booking confirmation. This must be signed before your hire begins.
By signing the waiver, you confirm that you have read and agree to the full terms and conditions of Mylor Boat Hire. You understand that failure to follow safety instructions may result in injury, loss, or the termination of your hire without a refund. As the lead name on the booking, you accept responsibility for all individuals in your group and ensure they adhere to all rules and safety guidelines.
Safety & Responsibilities
There will be a mandatory safety briefing before operating the vessel.
I acknowledge that boating carries risks, including injury, loss or damage of possessions and death.
I confirm that an adult (18+) will be responsible for the vessel at all times.
If hiring a sailing vessel, I confirm that a competent sailor will be onboard and shall be responsible for the vessel.

Weather & Operating Conditions
Mylor Boat Hire staff have the final decision on whether a hire can proceed based on weather conditions.
I understand that vessels must remain within the designated operating limits.
Payments, Cancellations & Refunds
A 50% deposit is required to confirm a booking, with full payment due on the day of hire.
Cancellations by Mylor Boat Hire: If my booking is cancelled due to weather or unforeseen circumstances, I will receive a full refund or an alternative booking option.
Cancellations by me:
Less than 48 hours’ notice: No refund.
48 hours – 1 week notice: A voucher will be issued (valid for 1 year).
More than 1 week’s notice: Full refund provided.
Damage & Liability
I am responsible for any damage or loss to the vessel and equipment.
I may be charged up to £500 for damage or loss.
If I require recovery from an area outside the designated limits, I will be liable for a £500 charge.
Mylor Boat Hire is not responsible for personal injury, loss, or damage to personal belongings.
Vessel Return & Additional Charges
The vessel must be returned on time and in clean condition.
Late returns incur a charge of £30 per hour.
If the vessel is returned in an untidy state, a £30 cleaning fee will apply.
Code of Conduct
I will operate the vessel safely and responsibly.
I understand that alcohol, drugs, and smoking are strictly prohibited onboard.
If I am found unfit to participate or behave in a way that endangers others, my hire may be terminated without refund.
Acknowledgment of Risk
I acknowledge that participating in boating activities involves risks of injury or death.
I agree to operate the vessel within my ability and follow all safety briefings and guidance.
I understand that Mylor Boat Hire is not liable for accidents, injury, or loss caused by my actions.
